The idea of “MOOYE” was inspired by the founder’s family. MR. Yang realized that her daughter is a mixture of pure baby sweetness and a glimmer of a “a little old soul”. Drawing inspiration from her daughter's comical antics, the designer breathes life into each wooden cat sculpture.

Having one, is like you have a real kitty with you. Check this classic Resin Statues, names "MOOYE". If you look from the frontal view, the kitten's expression looks sharp and penetrating, but when viewed from below or from the side, you’ll catch a glimpse of its cute and innocent charm

Maintenance of wooden carvings

MR. Yuan Ye is a designer brand that creates designs while preserving materials in their most original state. The designer primarily focuses on wood and resin materials. Due to the natural properties of wood, each piece has its unique grain, and the designer insists on maintaining 60% hand-carving by artisans, which means all wood products are non-standard items. 

To preserve the original state of wood and reduce signs of modern processing, wood wax oil is the only coating for small products after carved and polished; for large wooden statues, a simple water-based paint seal is applied on top to minimize the risk of

  • Wood Wax Oil

    If nourishment is needed, a thin layer of wood wax oil can be applied with soft cotton cloth. Avoid using alcohol, copper oil, chemical cleaners, household cleaning agents, or furniture polish, as these can cause damage.

  • Weak Points- Tail & Ears

    Avoiding grasping weak points like the tail, ears, or legs to prevent unnecessary damage. When moving the artwork, ensure the base is stable before gently placing it in position. Always hold it from the bottom during transport.

  • Stable Display Environment

    Dramatic environmental changes easily cause deformation or cracking. Avoid direct sunlight, high-humidity areas and heat sources to prevent excessive temperature or humidity differences, which may cause wood fading or deforming.

  • Wait for 3-5 Days to Display

    During autumn and winter, the weather can be dry and cold, after receiving your order, it would be better to keep the wood carving inside the box for 3-5 days (or apply wood wax oil) to adapt to the local climate.

  • Soft Cloth for Cleaning

    Make sure cleaning tools are clean before use. Any foreign objects on the cotton cloth can damage the surface of the sculpture during cleaning.
